Project Summary

Alpines scope included:

  • Installation of Mitsubishi Electric heat-pump and heat-recovery air conditioning systems, interconnecting refrigeration pipework, insulated condensate drains, seismic bracing and certification.
  • Relocation of existing outdoor units.
  • Modification of the existing exhaust systems.
  • Installation of a new outside air fans with associated VSD’s, humidity sensor, time clock control, ductwork, weather louvre, and electrical circuits.
  • Installation of Chemical Exhaust Cabinets with ExE rated fans, PVC ducting, and VSDs.
  • Fit-out of Fume Cupboards, high/low-level exhaust grilles, door grilles, and weather louvres.
  • Final electrical connections, provision of wired and central controllers, and installation of all associated mechanical components and penetrations.
  • Full system commissioning, NEBB-certified air balancing, and provision of labelled equipment.
  • Handover deliverables included Construction Issue Mechanical Services Drawings, Operation & Maintenance Manuals, user training, 12-month defect liability, service and maintenance.
