The new two-level library featured multiple General Learning Areas, meeting rooms, and offices, presenting unique challenges related to acoustics during its development.

Alpine installed a combination of state-of-the-art air conditioning and ventilation systems, including a Daikin Roof Top Package, Eleven x Stand-alone Ceiling Mounted Cassette ‘s and two  x Wall Mounted Split Systems. This ensured individual heating and cooling solutions throughout the library, while upholding the acoustic standards required by the College.  

The scope of works included. 

• The supply and installation of all Mechanical Services components including Air Conditioning, Outside Air Introduction and Toilet Exhaust systems. 

• Specified Electrical and Controls.

• NEBB Certified commissioning including full air balance of supply and exhaust air grilles.

• Seismic Bracing including Engineering and Certification.  

• Form 12 Certification.
